I used to blog on a weekly basis for almost 10 years (2007 to 2016). In the summer of 2016, I decided to do a digital detox. I went from someone who was addicted to technology to someone who decided to only use technology when necessary (to work and study).
I created this blog to fulfil one of the assignments for one of my fall 2017 graduate courses (EC&I 831 – Social Media & Open Education).
In this blog, I have two main categories: weekly reflections, which are responses to specific topics discussed in class, and my learning project, which is the documentation of my process of learning hand lettering through online resources.
I recently added a new page to my blog, the free gifts page, to share the outcomes of my hand lettering practice. I will transform my word art into free online journaling cards, brushes, and phone wallpapers.
