I used to blog on a weekly basis for almost 10 years (2007 to 2016). In the summer of 2016, I decided to do a digital detox. I went from someone who was addicted to technology to someone who decided to only use technology when necessary (to work and study).
I created this blog to fulfil two of the assignments for one of my fall 2017 graduate courses (EC&I 831 – Social Media & Open Education). This semester, Winter 2018, I will keep using this blog to fulfil two of the assignments for the course EC&I 832 – Digital Citizenship and Media Literacies.
In this blog, I have two main categories: weekly reflections, which are responses to specific topics discussed in class, and my major project, which is the documentation of my personal journey into media (an in-depth study of the three most used apps by my students).
Thanks for your visit!
